To the editor: Armando Herman, Wayne Spindler and Stacey Segarra-Bohlinger are allowed to protest speech restrictions at Los Angeles Metropolis Council conferences (“L.A. Metropolis Council bans N-word and C-word at conferences,” July 30). That stated, individuals go to council conferences to deal with points necessary to them and their group — to not take heed to profanity, racism and even singing.

The three talked about within the article might imagine they’re upholding free speech, however in actuality, they only come throughout as self-important.
