Two rushing motorists crashed dramatically on the northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway early Sunday morning, sending autos flying throughout the freeway.

The crash passed off round 2:30 a.m. close to Florence Avenue, in keeping with the California Freeway Patrol. The company mentioned the incident was being investigated as successful and run. The CHP mentioned no arrests had been made, and it was unclear what number of autos had been concerned.

In dramatic video from information gathering group OnScene.TV, two vehicles weave wildly amid visitors, apparently racing one another and dangerously chopping off different vehicles headed north.

Following the crash, no person was transported from the scene to a hospital, in keeping with the Los Angeles Fireplace Division.

Avenue racing and takeovers — when drivers take over roads and do harmful automobile stunts, often amid crowds of onlookers — peaked in 2020 with 912 reported incidents in Los Angeles. In 2019, there have been 319 incidents, and in 2023, there have been 482, police mentioned at a public assembly final yr.

A lady was killed by avenue racers in February in Los Angeles as she walked close to a crosswalk on Normandie Avenue at 66th Avenue.
