9-year-old dies at Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark water park, CEO says

A 9-year-old youngster has died after an incident at The Boardwalk water park at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Thursday.

A Hersheypark spokesperson confirmed that the incident occurred on the wave pool, which is closed on Friday out of respect for the sufferer’s household and the staffers who tried to avoid wasting the kid’s life.

Lifeguards instantly responded after noticing the kid was in misery, a press release launched by John Garden, CEO of Hershey Leisure & Resorts Firm, mentioned. He mentioned they rescued the kid and started performing “steady, coordinated life-saving efforts.”

The kid was then transported to Milton S. Hershey Medical Middle, the place they had been pronounced useless.

“Our hearts break for this youngster and the kid’s household. We lengthen our deepest condolences for his or her loss.
