Pete Davidson and model Elsie Hewitt kept their relationship relatively low-key before their 2026 breakup.
After the pair were spotted together on multiple occasions in March 2025, Us Weekly confirmed that they were dating. Weeks earlier, Hewitt gave a clue about her romantic life.
“It’s actually so simple, like, I just want somebody who is funny [and] makes me laugh, who is kind and who thinks I’m the s***,” Hewitt said on the “In Good Company” podcast that February. “Not even [someone who] hypes me up, but just shows with their actions that they feel that I’m so awesome. I don’t care about looks. I care about the way someone carries himself and … being secure with yourself.”
Davidson has since become a staple on Hewitt’s social media pages. They made their official red carpet debut in May 2025 at the Blossom Ball in New York City.
“He is so incredible,” Hewitt told People on the red carpet. “Honestly, best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful that he’s here tonight. It was just really important to both of us to come here and support the [Endometriosis Foundation of America] and keep helping, spreading the word and educating people.”
In December 2025, the couple welcomed their first baby. The duo, however, called it quits nearly five months later.

March 2025
A source told Us that the pair had recently started seeing one another. Within hours, Hewitt uploaded a photo of Davidson wearing a bathrobe to her Instagram Stories.
Later in March, they took a trip to Scotland.
“They have this s*** in the Bronx u know,” she captioned a pic of the pair feeding a local horse.
April 2025
They enjoyed a date night at the New York Knicks vs. Phoenix Suns basketball game on April 6, sitting courtside in Madison Square Garden.
May 2025
Hewitt, who suffers from endometriosis, brought the Saturday Night Live alum as her date to the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s annual fundraising gala.
“13th annual #BlossomBall 💜 this work, research & advocacy is extremely important to me,” she wrote via Instagram on May 19. “Thank you @seckinmd @padmalakshmi for having me and for all that you do for women’s reproductive health and thank u to the bestest glam team ever @patmcgrathreal.”
She uploaded photos from their red carpet debut, which elicited cheers from her celebrity friends.
“You guys 😍,” pop star Rita Ora commented.
Hewitt replied, “Luv and miss u always.”
Weeks later, on Memorial Day, Hewitt shared a glimpse of their “chill” holiday plans.
“I’ve just been really into salt and vinegar chips right now, so Pete bought me these [four bags],” she said in a TikTok video posted on May 27.
Three days later, Hewitt shared another video of the pair smiling for the camera.
July 2025
Davidson and Hewitt announced that they are expecting their first baby.
“Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt wrote via Instagram, sharing ultrasound photos.
Davidson broke his silence on the news during an interview with Entertainment Tonight later that month. “Well, I honestly couldn’t be more excited. As you know, it’s been my dream forever since I was a little kid,” he told the outlet before taking the opportunity to praise Hewitt.
“The baby’s mother is one of my favorite people to ever exist ever,” he said. “She’s going to be a great mom and I’m just stoked.”
December 2025
Elsie Hewitt announced via Instagram that she and Davidson were the proud parents of daughter Scottie.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” Hewitt wrote via Instagram alongside several snaps of the couple’s newborn. “Scottie rose hewitt davidson ♥️.”
Hewitt’s post included a message from both her and Davidson.
“My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief. – Elsie,” the model wrote before sharing the comedian’s joke. “Wu tang forever. – Pete.”
May 2026
Us Weekly confirmed that Davidson and Hewitt split.
“They are still sorting things out,” a source exclusively told Us. “They tried to make it work but there were different stressors, including having a baby together as two people who didn’t yet know each other that well. They are both trying to make it work and have made accommodations in their schedules for the baby.”
According to the insider, it was “very unlikely” that the couple would ever reconcile “romantically.”
