Roman Reigns faced his cousin, Jacob Fatu, at Backlash 2026 and emerged victorious. However, on the latest episode of RAW, Jacob took out Reigns and The Usos by himself. A picture from that attack shows OTC’s injured elbow.
After Jacob seemed to be done with Roman and Usos, he was walking out. However, he sensed the timing of the trio being helpless near the ring announcer’s barricade and ran to smash them there.
Thanks for the submission!
Afterward, it was clear that Reigns was visibly in pain, with both hands in an odd position, coping with the attack. His left elbow was also torn. To cover the blood, even a towel was put around it as he walked out of there.

Thankfully, the former Bloodline was not attacked again, but all this was more than enough. This feud is building up to a rematch, possibly at Clash In Italy, for the World Heavyweight Championship. Now that Fatu seems even more unhinged and focused, it will be exciting to see whether he wins the title.
Roman Reigns is now officially slated for a few appearances in June
Last month, Roman Reigns was advertised for all RAWs leading up to Clash In Italy and Night of Champions 2026. The PLE would still see Reigns working, potentially in the aforementioned rematch with Jacob Fatu. Although at the end of June in Saudi Arabia, Roman is not advertised. Thus, his dates of RAW appearances in June were also lifted.
However, in another move, Roman Reigns is officially slated for three RAWs in June. Two before Night of Champions (Turin and Baltimore), and one after it (Atlantic City). It is not likely that Roman would be at NOC, though, now that he is only on a few RAWs leading up to it. It seems the King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments, which should be the spotlight, could be overshadowed by Reigns’ title defense.
As of July, he’s advertised for two RAWs (Dallas and Los Angeles). Although after the Saudi event, OTC could be locked in again for his buildup to SummerSlam 2026, and maybe the Saturday Night’s Main Event from Madison Square Garden, too.
