Jake Hall, a former star of the reality show TOWIE, tragically died at age 35 from a chest injury inflicted by broken glass. The incident occurred at a rented villa in Santa Margalida, Mallorca, where he resided. Investigators report that Hall sustained head and neck wounds after running through a patio door during a party at the £200-per-night property.
Brother Sonny’s Heartfelt Tribute
Sonny Hall, Jake’s brother and collaborator on his clothing brands, broke his silence with an emotional Instagram story titled ‘The Dragonfly.’ The post recounts a water beetle’s journey from the pond’s depths, transforming into a dragonfly. Though unable to return home, the dragonfly knows it will reunite with loved ones, symbolizing hope amid grief.
Ex-Girlfriends Misse Beqiri and Chloe Lewis React
Misse Beqiri, mother of Hall’s eight-year-old daughter River, commented ‘Love you’ on Sonny’s post. TOWIE castmate Chloe Lewis, Hall’s ex, added: ‘He loved you so much. Love you Son.’ Their messages joined hundreds from fellow TOWIE stars and celebrity friends.
TOWIE Honors Jake Hall and Jordan Wright
The ITV2 series dedicated its Sunday night episode to Hall and fellow late cast member Jordan Wright. An onscreen message after the credits read: ‘In Memory of Jordan Wright 1992 to 2026. In Memory of Jake Hall 1990 to 2026.’
Wright, 33, drowned in a drainage canal in Phuket’s Thalang District on March 14. He appeared in eight episodes of MTV’s Ex On The Beach in 2017 and 17 episodes of TOWIE the next year.
Details of the Fatal Incident
Police discovered Hall’s body around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the villa. The previous evening, he partied in Palma before returning with two men and three women. Music played into the early hours until a loud glass crash at 7:15 a.m. alerted neighbors.
Witnesses state Hall mistook the closed patio door for open and collided with it, suffering severe injuries. He collapsed on the patio, and emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene. Legal experts classify the event as an accident.
Misse Beqiri’s Devastating Instagram Post
Beqiri, a Swedish model who shares daughter River with Hall—a TOWIE regular from series 14 to 18—posted a poignant tribute: ‘I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s.’
She continued: ‘You lit up every room you walked into—your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit. You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once.’
Beqiri recalled: ‘Your constant mission to stop me from taking naps still makes me smile. I loved you from the very first moment I saw you, and there was never a chance you were going to let me go. Together we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words. Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her. She adored you—her favourite person, her daddy.’
She promised: ‘You will be missed. I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly. You are at peace now. As my brother used to say, “you gypos,” I know you’re laughing together now. You left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us.’
Chloe Lewis Pays Respects
Hall’s childhood sweetheart Chloe Lewis, 35, who dated him on-and-off during their TOWIE days from series 14 to 17, responded to a friend’s honoring post on Friday. Despite their 2016 split, she offered dignified support after initial silence.
