Last week, Drew McIntyre announced he was quitting WWE in the first segment of SmackDown. However, he returned later on in the show to attack Jacob Fatu and cost him his match against Trick Williams.
He already has a lot of issues with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, and could get into massive trouble tonight if he does one thing.
Thanks for the submission!
Drew McIntyre could get into trouble for attacking a WWE official
The Scottish Warrior has put his hands on WWE referee Dan Engler multiple times in the past. He hit the referee with a Glasgow Kiss when defending his Undisputed WWE Championship two weeks ago.
This was after he had apologized to Engler, and later humiliated him as well when being reinstated. If McIntyre puts his hands on another referee in another capacity, he could be punished severely.
McIntyre might also put his hands on Nick Aldis
The tension between Drew McIntyre is at an all-time high after last week, when he asked the General Manager to fix things after losing the Undisputed Title. Outraged after losing the championship, McIntyre could demand a rematch against Rhodes, but be denied.
This could result in him putting his hands on the General Manager, potentially taking him out with a Glasgow Kiss or Claymore Kick. Although he hasn’t punished Randy Orton for flooring him with an RKO in the past, he could take strong action against Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre could be suspended from SmackDown or be forced to leave
After potentially attacking another referee or even Aldis, McIntyre could be suspended for the next couple of weeks. Alternatively, he could be forced to put his position on the roster on the line at WrestleMania 42 if he faces Jacob Fatu.
He is already expected to take time off after The Show of Shows in Las Vegas, and could lose to Fatu. Months later, he could return to WWE and switch brands by going to RAW to start some fresh rivalries.
