The Miz has truly done it all and won it all. Although his last WrestleMania main event was 15 years ago, he will retire as a first-ballot Hall of Famer who has accomplished everything. Now, he has another huge achievement under his belt.
The A-Lister has had a long and arduous journey to reach where he is. Coming from reality television, he wasn’t exactly the prototypical definition of a superstar born and bred for the wrestling business. Yet here we are, approaching the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut, as he has outlasted everyone except for Randy Orton. Even in Orton’s case, he only has four years over him. The point being that when it’s all said and done, The 2-time Grand Slam Champion will likely receive far more appreciation than what he gets now.
Thanks for the submission!
The Miz took to Twitter/X to reveal that his childhood dream of hosting The American Gladiators has come true as he will be the main man in the reboot edition of the show, coming soon on Amazon Prime. A big congratulations goes out to him.
Could The Miz and Jelly Roll be on a WrestleMania collision course?
This last week on SmackDown, the road to WrestleMania may have potentially been laid out for The Miz. On Miz TV, he hosted country music sensation Jelly Roll, who was making his big televised return to programming months after his incredible effort at SummerSlam 2025. In case you forgot, he teamed up with Randy Orton, but ultimately took the pinfall in a defeat to Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul.
However, Jelly Roll was lauded for his efforts in the match, as well as his decision to be the one to take the pinfall – a rare occurrence for celebrities wrestling, let alone on their debut. Either way, this week, their back-and-forth was interrupted by Kit Wilson, who seemingly made things worse. Jelly Roll would praise Wilson, only to be called fatphobic in response, because he made a concerted effort to lose weight in order to get in the ring.
Unfortunately, Jelly Roll couldn’t keep it together, and in the end, he decided to smack Wilson with his fist, only for Wilson to duck down and for The Miz to be caught in the crossfire. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens on the road to WrestleMania, and if Jelly Roll could make his in-ring return to face the only 2-time Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.
