Julian Edelman may have hinted that Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is on his way to the New England Patriots.
The three-time Super Bowl champion posted a GIF of himself saying, “We’re all Patriots,” before showing Brown with a smirk on his face and winking.
Thanks for the submission!

The tweet came amid rumors that the Eagles are ready to move on from the wide receiver. Brown voiced frustrations with the team last season for what he felt was a lack of targets.

He and Philadelphia won the 2025 Super Bowl, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game. However, the Eagles were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers last season. Brown could be on his way out after spending the past four seasons with the franchise.
The wideout arrived in Philadelphia via a trade with the Tennessee Titans in 2022 in exchange for a first-round pick. The deal worked out in the Eagles’ favor longterm, but it looks like their partnership may end soon.
A.J. Brown and the impact he brings to a new NFL home

A.J. Brown has proven to be one of the most talented and reliable receivers in the league throughout his career. He has recorded 1,000-yard seasons with at least seven touchdowns in each of his four seasons with the Eagles. Brown finished just shy of 1,500 receiving yards during his first two campaigns.
At 28 years old, the former second-round pick has shown no signs of slowing down and likely wants to join a team that would target him more. Brown shares targets with QB2 DeVonta Smith, who could be a No. 1 option with most of the other teams in the league.
Additionally, Brown is on a run-heavy offense flanked by running back Saquon Barkley. Should the Patriots land Brown, he would likely become a security blanket for Drake Maye. The quarterback has ex-Packers receiver Romeo Doubs at his disposal after New England signed him on March 12.
A trade to the Patriots would also reunite Brown with his coach with the Titans, Mike Vrabel. The wide receiver may be the piece the defending AFC champions need to once again hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
