As many as 15 employees could also be trapped underground following studies of an industrial tunnel collapse in Wilmington round 8 p.m. Wednesday, authorities mentioned.

Greater than 100 Los Angeles Fireplace Division personnel had been assigned to the incident at 1701 N. Figueroa St., the positioning of the one entry level to the tunnel.

The employees could also be trapped as much as six miles south of the entry level, in line with the LAFD.

Search and rescue groups, specifically educated, licensed and outfitted to deal with confined house tunnel rescues, had been dispatched to the positioning.

TV information footage confirmed first responders gathered round a large shaft on the web site of the incident.
