Stephanie Buttermore’s fiancé, bodybuilder Jeff Nippard, was all smiles with the influencer weeks before her death.

In an Instagram post shared on February 14, Nippard placed his arm around Buttermore as the pair sat on a couch and posed for the camera. In another image, Nippard showed a close-up of their colorful food.

“Relationshipmaxxing with tea time to lower cortisol levels ❤️ ,” he captioned the pic.

Weeks later, Nippard shared that Buttermore died. No cause of death has been shared.

Social media is paying tribute to many influencers who died in 2026. While recording a private New Year’s Eve livestream, Sergio Jiménez died at age 37. Spanish outlets El País and El Periódico reported that he was allegedly completing challenges, including consuming alcohol and cocaine in exchange for money. Days later, content creator Athira Auni […]

“It is with profound sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Jeff’s fiancée and partner of 10 years, Stephanie,” an Instagram statement from Nippard’s team read on Friday, March 6. “As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff.”

The statement continued, “She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family and her Ph.D research on ovarian cancer. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this tragic loss. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.”

Buttermore — who had more than 570,000 Instagram followers — has since been honored by the online community. OnlyFans star Annie Knight mourned Buttermore in an Instagram Story upload on Sunday, March 8, while reposting a tribute for the influencer.

“This woman is the reason I overcame my 13 year long eating disorder,” Knight wrote. “She gave me the tools and the strength to do what felt impossible and I truely [sic] wouldn’t be where I am today had I not had her videos to watch to help me.”

She continued, “This is devastating. She will be remembered by so many.”

Buttermore, for her part, decided to take a step back from social media in 2024. Her last Instagram post was uploaded in May 2024, sharing with followers what she’s learned from her online hiatus.

“I’ve been pretty MIA on social media all year, but I’ve taken some pretty valuable things away from it,” Buttermore wrote at the time. “My mental health has been the best it’s ever been, but I’ll give you some specifics. I no longer struggle with anxiety. At all. It was almost crippling a few years ago to the point I felt I couldn’t breathe or leave my house. Now, I really don’t have to care whether people liked what I posted or if they are saying negative things about me.”

Buttermore noted that she found herself being “way more present” in her daily life.

“This one is obvious, but when you don’t even think about opening Instagram out of habit, it’s like finally opening your eyes to what’s going on around you,” she wrote. “When I’m with my family or Jeff, I’m much more immersed in the moment. I take photos for the sake of saving memories and not because I’m going to post it on my story. I never get caught not listening to someone because I’m checking comments, and I’m in a better mood because I’m not anxious. Family time is family time. Period.”
