Unique Makeup and Outfit Details

Makeup artist Lisa Potter-Dixon created a small design to the left of Jackson’s blue eye and added black lines across her brows. Potter-Dixon explained, ‘There’s a certain trust and respect that happens in the chair when you create a look like this. A shared moment of letting instinct lead. No overthinking, just expression. I took inspiration from Vivienne’s love of starting her ideas with loose, expressive drawings before turning them into garments… so this was makeup, but treated a little like a sketch. Raw, instinctive, and free.’

Vivienne Westwood creative director Andreas Kronthaler designed the red-patterned halter catsuit layered over a grey-patterned maxi-blouse that Jackson wore. The Beverly Hills native, who turns 28 next month, paired it with black thigh-high slouchy boots and a matching skinny belt chosen by stylist Jessica Paster. Hairstylist Luke Pluckrose styled her messy updo.

Front Row Spotlight

Jackson sat front row at Césure in Paris alongside pop stars Chappell Roan and Lola Young. As a Zadig & Voltaire brand ambassador, she recently celebrated six years of sobriety and attended other Paris Fashion Week shows for Mugler, Chloé, and Tom Ford.

Ongoing Legal Battle with Father’s Estate

Jackson remains in a legal dispute with her late father Michael Jackson’s estate co-executors, John Branca and John McClain. She alleges they received $148.2 million in bonus and premium payouts through 2021. Court filings indicate she has benefited from $65 million of the estate’s $2 billion value.

Branca and McClain’s attorneys seek $93,924.63 in fees and $1,238.39 in costs related to an anti-SLAPP motion. Jackson’s lawyers opposed this on February 26, calling it ‘a waste of resources’ that failed to dismiss any claims in her petition to rescind.

Music, Biopic Stance, and Upcoming Projects

Jackson has distanced herself from the upcoming biopic Michael, starring her cousin Jaafar Jackson, criticizing it for ‘a lot of inaccuracy’ and ‘a lot of just full-blown lies.’ Sources indicate her brothers, Prince and Bigi, aim to mend family rifts ahead of the film’s April 24 premiere.

She promotes her new single ‘Zombies in Love,’ produced by Linda Perry and dropping this Friday. Jackson shared, ‘I wrote this about being strung out back in the day with the love of my life.’ The self-described ‘mediocre Thom Yorke impersonator’ performs next at BottleRock Napa Valley on May 23.

Upcoming roles include Doctor Odyssey, Christopher Broughton’s documentary Michael Jackson: A Celebration (June theaters), and films like RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate, Wounds, Skinemax, Street Smart, and Toad. Jackson was 11 when her father died in 2009 from acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication.
