Israel’s military said it struck Iranian commanders in the Lebanese capital early on Sunday, expanding the scope of its strikes to the heart of Beirut after days of attacks that have left nearly 400 people dead. Hundreds of people remain displaced, and schools, places of worship, and stadiums have been turned into emergency shelters, but many more are needed.
