To the editor: I’m glad Insurance coverage Commissioner Ricardo Lara is investigating State Farm (“Indignant householders and a state probe. What went incorrect with State Farm’s L.A. hearth response,” July 7). We misplaced our house to the wildfires and have listened to many Zoom calls the place we heard horrific tales from hearth victims being mistreated by their insurers.

Two ideas: I feel somebody wants to take a look at the advert {dollars} State Farm spends. It looks as if that cash could be higher spent serving to victims and never passing on 17% value will increase to its clients.

Secondly, I want that every one the insurance coverage corporations wouldn’t require us to stock each piece of misplaced property. This can be a ridiculous and arduous demand and almost inconceivable. If these corporations insured us for our contents, then they clearly knew as a lot as they wanted to about what we owned and gladly took our insurance coverage premiums over time.
