Donald Trump has fired Kristi Noem, his secretary of Homeland Security, and Jimmy Kimmel has thoughts.
“Kristi Noem will be, as Trump said, ‘moving to be Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere’,” says Kimmel in the clip above. “And I think I speak for all of us when I say, we wish Kristi luck in her brand new, completely made up job.”
Kimmel then moves on to Noem’s replacement, Markwayne Mullin, playing a montage of interview clips in which Mullin repeatedly stumbles over his words and forgets the names of places.
“Let’s just say that Markwayne is no Mark Twain,” says Kimmel. “Thank you again, Mr President. The homeland is secure.”
