Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman was arrested for the second time in three days on Sunday, March 1, Us Weekly can confirm.

Allman, 49, was accused of breaking into a home in Windham, New Hampshire.

Allman was charged with burglary, two counts of criminal mischief and breach of bail, the Windham Police Department confirmed to Us on Monday, March 2. He was arraigned Monday at the Salem District Court and ordered held on preventive detention.

“On Sunday, March 1, 2026, the Windham Police Department responded to a report of a residential break-in involving forced entry,” the police department told Us in a statement.

The statement continued, “Officers arrived on scene and located an individual inside the residence who did not have permission to be there and had forcibly entered the home. The subject was taken into custody without incident.”

CBS News reported Monday that Allman was found smoking a cigarette on a couch inside the living room of the Windham home.

Windham police responded to a 911 call from a woman who claimed someone had broken into her home and that she was hiding in the closet, per CBS. Allman reportedly told attending officers that he was given permission to break the front door and enter the property, which the 911 caller and her husband both denied.

Us has reached out to Cher’s representative for comment.

Allman’s arrest on Sunday follows an earlier arrest Friday, February 27, in Concord, New Hampshire, which is roughly 35 miles north of Windham.

Cher’s son was booked on trespassing charges in that arrest after being detained at an elite prep school, reported TMZ.

The Concord Police Department told the outlet that officers responded to St. Paul’s School after receiving a report of an unwanted guest on the premises around 7 p.m. local time. The person was reportedly in the dining hall “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently.”

Allman was charged with two counts of simple assault, one count of criminal trespass, one count of criminal threatening and a further count of disorderly conduct. He was released without bail, per TMZ.

Cher, 79, shared Elijah with her late second husband, Gregg Allman, who died in 2017. She also shares son Chaz Bono with first husband Sonny Bono.

Allman previously made headlines in June 2025 when he was rushed to the hospital in Joshua Tree, California, after the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said it “responded to a residence in Landers for a male subject acting erratically.”

“When deputies arrived, Elijah Allman, 48, was being evaluated by emergency medical personnel. Deputies located drugs inside the home, and Allman was transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing,” the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department told Us at the time.

Following the incident, Allman’s estranged wife, Marieangela King Allman, told People in a statement, “While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves.”

“Like many, he continues to confront his inner struggles — but it is important to recognize that he does so from a place of strength, not defeat,” she added. “Despite the assumptions that often color how his journey is portrayed, the reality is that Elijah remains grounded, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose.”

“I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him. My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show,” Marieangela said.
