AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) recently fired shots at a popular star. Friedman is famous for his rants and vicious verbal attacks.

The Salt of the Earth won the AEW World Championship at Worlds End in a Four-Way match against Samoa Joe, Hangman Page, and Swerve Strickland. Since then, he has been on a stellar run, defending the gold against several challengers. In fact, MJF has had a target on his back since winning the title. Most recently, he defended the title against Brody King at Grand Slam Australia.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, AEW star Darby Allin spoke about his championship aspirations. While he admitted that championships were never his primary motivation, he noted that he would enjoy being the face of AEW. The 33-year-old star explained that he strongly represented the company style and compelling storylines and angles mattered more to him than titles. The current champion took notice of these comments and urged Darby to mind his own business and stop worrying about winning the AEW World Championship.

“Keep being worried about other sh*t you tiny little emo bozo!” Friedman wrote.

MJF will face Hangman Page at AEW Revolution

At AEW Grand Slam Australia, Hangman Page defeated Andrade in a high-stakes singles match to earn a title opportunity. This win ensured that he can challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at Revolution 2026.

This past week on Dynamite, the two former rivals came face-to-face. The Salt of the Earth started berating his challenger, questioning his credibility. However, Page fired back and asked the champ to accept his stipulation for the match, claiming that he would give Friedman something in return. The challenger then announced that if he lost the match, he would never challenge for the AEW title ever again.

Max gleefully accepted the condition, and Page declared that their title bout would be a Texas Death Match.
