Team USA figure skater Isabeau Levito is not ready for her 2026 Winter Olympics journey to come to an end.

“I’ve spent every night in the [Olympic] Village. It’s been everything and more,” Levito, 18, told NBC in a video posted on Monday, February 16. “You can’t evict me.”

Levito added, “I don’t think there’s anything not to enjoy. I haven’t even gotten to compete yet and I feel like my experience is already complete. Not complete, but I’m having a blast. The best time.”

After living in the Olympic Village for weeks, Levito will finally hit the ice for the women’s figure skating short program on Tuesday, February 17.

Figure skater Isabeau Levito is making her Olympic debut at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan and Cortina, Italy. The 18-year-old former U.S. National Champion is one-third of Team USA’s “Blade Angels” and is aiming to bring home gold after the U.S. was shut out of the women’s singles competition in Beijing in 2022. “I feel like I’m exactly where I want to be and I’m so glad that things have aligned and worked out for me to be here,” she said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to compete.”

A native of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Levito playfully addressed Olympic Village obsession in her TikTok bio, which reads: “You can take isabeau out of the village, but you cannot take the village out of isabeau.”

Levito has been enjoying her time in Italy as one-third of the Blade Angels, alongside Team USA figure skaters Amber Glenn and Alysa Liu.

The trio of Olympians were celebrated by Taylor Swift in a video posted by NBC via social media on Monday.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Amber, Alysa and Isabeau. Three amazing showgirls on ice who will capture your heart with their stories,” Swift, 36, said in the clip, a reference to the pop star’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.

In talking about Levito specifically, Swift called the skater’s journey “destiny personified.”

“Her mom grew up in Milan,” Swift said. “And her Nonna, her grandma, lives exactly 13 minutes from the Olympic rink. When you can skate like you’re meant to be out there, history has a funny way of showing up.”

Levito discussed her Italian heritage in a video posted by NBC before the start of the 2026 Olympics, saying she had visited Italy “six or seven times” while growing up.

“As a child, I had a difficult time with traditional breakfast foods,” Levito explained. “Like, if I ate a pancake I would go pale and sick in the face. I wasn’t a fan of eggs, wasn’t a fan of meat. And well, pasta’s my favorite so I ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

When asked if she was still routinely eating pasta for breakfast, Levito said, “No, I’ve become somewhat normal.”

As for her bond with the Blade Angels, Levito has said that she hopes their close-knit relationships can help signal a shift in figure skating.

“I feel like we’re all so intelligent and mature,” Levito said at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships last month. “I think it’s also why everyone gets so along in the locker room, because we all realize it’s not that deep. We’re all doing something that we’re passionate about and that we love.”
