WWE Superstars often forge their path out of wrestling after a major career setback. Recently, Shelly Martinez detailed her struggles working for Postmates a while after she decided to retire from wrestling.

From 2005 to 2007, Shelly Martinez was signed with the Stamford-based promotion as a Diva and eventually made her way to TNA Wrestling after being released in 2007. Martinez’s run with TNA nearly lasted a year, and she later decided to retire from the industry in 2017.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, the former Ariel detailed personal struggles when she retired from wrestling. She recalled an instance where she worked for Postmates and often got hit on by strangers and even received invitations to hang out with them.

“After I decided to retire from wrestling in 2018, around that time, there was no Uber Eats, but there was Postmates. Postmates was very, very new. I can find new places to go to or whatever. I can drive around town, and I’ll just wear really cute outfits and feel good about myself while I’m working. I’d smoke a joint the entire time when I was in my car,” Martinez said.

The former Ariel later revealed that she was offered money to hang out with strangers based on how she looked.

“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been hit on by rich a** people because I would be in the Beverly Hills area or the West Side, and I would go to famous people’s houses. They would offer me money to come inside and hang out, and they would smell that my car smelled, and it was a whole journey,” Martinez said.

Meanwhile, Shelly Martinez revealed that she once wanted to hook up with Second City Saint.

Speaking on her own channel, she stated that she wanted to hook up with the multi-time WWE Champion when they were working on the same brand. However, she never got physical with The Second City Saint, as she eventually got involved with one of CM Punk’s friends
