Stars Groove to Classic Rap at Raising Cane’s Party

The 51-year-old Oscar winner sways to the beats of the 1991 diss track “No Vaseline” from the second row, right behind Maguire. Ice Cube, 56, delivers the nostalgic gangsta rap aimed at his former N.W.A. bandmates Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and manager Jerry Heller.

DiCaprio sports his trademark low-key black baseball cap and matching jacket amid enthusiastic partygoers. Maguire, 50, the Spider-Man star and divorced father of two, shares the fun at the sporty gathering.

The duo first connected in 1990 while auditioning and later co-starred in the 1993 drama This Boy’s Life and Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 film The Great Gatsby. In the 1990s, DiCaprio partied with a crew known as the “Pussy Posse,” including Maguire, Kevin Connolly, Harmony Korine, Jay Ferguson, Josh Miller, David Blaine, and Ethan Suplee.

Vittoria Ceretti Honors Italy at Winter Olympics

Meanwhile, DiCaprio’s girlfriend, 27-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, represents Italy by carrying the national flag at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Milan. She wears a custom white Giorgio Armani gown.

Ceretti shares her excitement on Instagram: “This was the greatest honor of my life. I still can’t believe I had the privilege of carrying the Italian flag at the Olympic Games.”

She adds, “Before I got there, I don’t think I fully understood the responsibility I was taking on: within that flag live our history, our values, and the beauty of the most incredible country in the world. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be doing what I love most in front of 80,000 people. Thank you for trusting me. I hope I made you proud, Italy.”

Awards Nominations Heat Up for DiCaprio

DiCaprio competes for Best Actor honors following wins at the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards. His portrayal of single dad and stoned revolutionary Bob Ferguson in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another—a $175 million adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland starring Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Chase Infiniti—earns 14 BAFTA nominations, the most this year.

Next up: the 79th British Academy Film Awards on February 22, airing on BBC One and E! Network. He then vies for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role at the 32nd Screen Actors Guild Awards streaming March 1 on Netflix, where the film leads with seven nods.

The highlight arrives at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15 via ABC and Hulu. DiCaprio also prepares to reunite with Don’t Look Up co-star Jennifer Lawrence in Martin Scorsese’s horror film What Happens at Night, an adaptation of Peter Cameron’s 2023 novel, with Apple Original Films in talks to finance alongside Studiocanal.
