Nathan was reported missing in Georgia on February 3 after witnesses saw him running out of his home. Officers noted he had left his residence under unusual circumstances.
Body Recovery and Investigation
On February 6, authorities recovered a body from a pond in Mayfield Park near Nathan’s residence in Milton. “After being unable to locate Mr. Smith during that time, teams expanded the search to include a pond,” a police statement explained.
