Beast Games Season 2 player Jim Bent has become a prominent player in MrBeast’s $5 million game show, rising through the ranks and reaching the game’s final stages. Outside the show, Bent encountered some controversy online, involving American makeup artist, businessman, and social media influencer Jeffree Star, who has over 13 million followers on Instagram.
Jim Bent started his career online as a fitness influencer and reportedly met Star in 2024. In September of that year, rumors that the two were dating began circulating online after Star shared a series of social media posts featuring Bent and hinting at a potential relationship.
These rumors soon fizzled out, though, and in the context of Beast Games, Jim gained attention for his on-screen romance with fellow player Monika Ronk.
Considering his relationship with Ronk gained popularity online, netizens on TikTok brought up Bent’s alleged past relationship with Jeffree Star. In response, the Beast Games contestant denied any relationship rumors, claiming that he and Star were just “friends” and that he chose to distance himself from the make-up mogul after the latter showed signs of wanting to take their relationship further:
“Me and Jeffree used to be friends and make tiktoks together, but after while I started to feel like he wanted to be more than just friends with me. So I told him I felt like we weren’t on the same page, and we haven’t spoken since.”

Star responded to Bent’s TikTok comment, claiming that their past relationship was beyond just friendly, while sarcastically referencing his relationship with Monika Ronk:
“So sleeping together over 25 times is what friends do? I’m bored, have fun with your fake relationship and I wish you all the best. Hopefully one day you’ll be able to be yourself.”
Further, on X, Star reposted an image of him standing alongside Jim Bent and tagged MrBeast, the host of Beast Games, saying:
“Hey, @MrBeast, come get your b**ch Jim and tell him to keep my name out of his mouth please, thanks! – Management.”
