New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns has found himself mixed up in the current midseason trade rumors. According to Steve Popper of “Newsday Sports” on Friday, Towns’ feelings have been hurt due to his name being constantly mentioned in the trade rumors.
“If you saw Towns after Wednesday night’s game — or really, if you’ve seen him at all this season — you know that hearing his name in trade talks has come at a cost. Feelings are hurt. Egos are bruised. And maybe trust is gone.”

Towns has been mentioned as one of the pieces the Knicks may use if they want to make a move on Giannis Antetokounmpo. His offensive struggles in recent games, averaging 12.3 points in his last four games, have contributed to the speculation.
He is having his lowest points per game (20.2 ppg) this season since his rookie season (18.3 ppg). His rebounding is still strong at 11.1 and 3.1 assists per game.
