WWE legend Brock Lesnar recently declared his entry into the Men’s Royal Rumble Match on The Pat McAfee Show. Seth Rollins has shared his thoughts on The Beast Incarnate entering the 30-person bout.
Speaking on Get Up on ESPN, The Visionary stated that Lesnar was a force to be reckoned with, no matter the kind of match he is in, and that his resume spoke for itself.
Thanks for the submission!
“I mean, look, uh, anytime Lesnar’s in the Royal Rumble, you know he’s a force to be reckoned with. He is the Beast. His resume speaks for itself. Whether it’s a regular match or a Royal Rumble, I’ve been in the ring with him. It’s no fun,” he said.
However, Rollins seemingly took issue with how casually the veteran announced his entry into the Men’s Royal Rumble Match without appearing on television.
“That is the most Brock Lesnar way I’ve ever seen to announce your entry into the Royal Rumble. Didn’t want to show up for work, don’t want to leave the farm in Saskatchewan, just calls into McAfee and says, “I’m in,” and that’s it. Now he’s going to get a jet, go to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and have a good shot at winning the Rumble,” he added.
Seth Rollins has been absent from television due to a shoulder injury since the post-Crown Jewel episode of RAW.
WWE Hall of Famer believes Gunther could retire Brock Lesnar next
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bubba Ray Dudley discussed how the next six months could look for Gunther. The WWE Hall of Famer believed that The Ring General could retire AJ Styles at Royal Rumble and go on to end Brock Lesnar’s career next.
“Look at what is on the table for Gunther in the next six months. The potential. Let’s look at the short term to get Gunther to where we ultimately want him in the long term. Retire AJ at the Rumble, bring back Brock, retire Brock at SummerSlam in his home of Minnesota. You have now done everything that you could possibly do to make Gunther a monster who can be next level credible World Heavyweight Champion in the future,” Bubba Ray said.
For now, it remains to be seen what happens during Styles vs. Gunther this Saturday.
