WoW Classic’s Roadmap for 2026 was revealed during a January 29, 2026 livestream by Blizzard Entertainment. We already have a decent start for the Classic servers this year, with the Burning Crusade expansion dropping onto Classic Anniversary in February. But there are plenty of other Classic-era servers to account for, and there’s no telling what we could receive.
There are plenty of things that we can expect, such as more expansions/patches for the WoW Classic servers that will no doubt be on this Roadmap for 2026. This was done alongside a Roadmap for the retail version of World of Warcraft, showing off what we can expect on that end, as well. If you’re curious about what’s coming this year for Classic, here’s what you can expect.
What to expect from WoW Classic’s Roadmap in 2026
WoW Classic’s Roadmap shows that Blizzard continues to allow players to take a trip back in time, to some of the most memorable moments the game has ever offered us. This year is going to see quite a few updates across the Classic servers, such as Mists of Pandaria Classic updates. There are two major updates scheduled for that this year, Phase 4, and Phase 5. That’s right, get ready for Siege of Orgrimmar this year!

Mists Classic Phase 4 (Spring 2026): Escalation
- New quest campaign and Battlefield: Barrens World Event
- New System (Challenge Cards) and Bosses in Brawler’s Guild
- 4 new Scenarios and Heroic Scenarios
- Legendary Questline Progression
Mists Classic Phase 5 (Summer 2026): Siege of Orgrimmar
- Timeless Isle Zone
- Raid: Siege of Orgrimmar
- Proving grounds
- PVP Season 14
- New Celestial Dungeon Difficulty and Rewards
Then there’s the Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary servers! Those certainly aren’t left off of the WoW Classic 2026 Roadmap, that’s for sure. In fact, all four phases of Burning Crusade content are coming this year. We’re already in Phase 1, which is the launch. The actual content drops on February 5, 2026, but we’re in the pre-patch at the time of writing. Here’s what else is coming this year:

TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 2 (Spring 2026): Overlords of Outland
- Raids: The Eye & Serpentshrine Cavern
- Ogri’la and Sha’tari Skyguard Dailies
- New Profession Recipes
- Druid Swift Flight Form
- Arena Season 2
TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3 (Summer 2026): The Black Temple
- Riads: Mount Hyjal & Black Temple
- Netherwing Daily Content
- Epic Gems
- Arena Season 3
TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3.5: The Gods of Zul’Aman
TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 4: Fury of the Sunwell
- Raid: Sunwell Plateau
- Isle of Quel’danas
- Arena Season 4
That’s not all players can expect for WoW Classic’s 2026 Roadmap, either, but unfortunately, Holly Longdale was silenced before she could spoil it. It sounds like perhaps another Classic+ adventure could be on the horizon, but that’s just speculation.
