Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Tuesday defended Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem and Homeland Safety Advisor Stephen Miller after Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., criticized the pair for labeling the U.S. citizen killed by Border Patrol brokers in Minneapolis as a “home terrorist.”

Tillis was the primary Senate Republican to name for Noem to be fired after the killing of Alex Pretti, 37, who was shot by federal brokers as he was recording immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis over the weekend.

“What she’s accomplished in Minnesota must be disqualifying. She must be out of a job,” Tillis informed reporters earlier on Tuesday. “It’s simply amateur-ish. It’s horrible. Now, no person’s speaking about that. … They’re speaking in regards to the incompetence of the chief of Homeland Safety.”

Alex Pretti, 37, was shot and killed on Saturday by Border Patrol brokers whereas recording federal immigration operations in Minneapolis.
