The White Home altered and posted to social media a picture of an arrested Minnesota protester on Thursday to make it seem as if she was crying, a senior White Home official confirmed to NBC Information.

Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem had posted the unique picture on X of civil rights activist Nekima Levy Armstrong wanting forward calmly as she was taken into custody Thursday.
