Former particular counsel Jack Smith will testify publicly later this month earlier than the GOP-led Home Judiciary Committee, Chairman Jim Jordan introduced late Monday.
Smith will testify on Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. ET, in line with Jordan — a month after his closed-door testimony earlier than the committee.

In line with a transcript and video of Smith’s hourslong deposition from Dec. 17 launched by the committee late final month, Smith informed lawmakers that President Donald Trump engaged in a “legal scheme” to overturn the 2020 election.
