“I am not going to let my Republican colleagues get away with simply ignoring the truth that somebody, Renee Good, a girl in Minnesota, was killed yesterday due to these political stunts,” she stated.

Good was shot and killed amid a surge of federal brokers within the Twin Cities space as a part of the Trump administration’s ongoing crackdown on immigration and a fraud scandal in Minnesota.

When requested how Emmer responded to her, Craig stated, “Nicely, Tom did not let me get three phrases out earlier than he went from zero to 60 mph. So, look, if you cannot have a dialog with somebody with out it escalating within the first three phrases, then you definitely’re not likely able to have a dialog and you are not listening. And I believe that is a part of my frustration, is, I would like my Republican colleagues to grasp and listen to me and listen to us as Minnesotans that having ICE on the bottom in Minnesota is just not making Minnesota any safer. Actually, it is having the alternative impact.”

WCCO reached out to Emmer’s workforce over the telephone and thru e mail, providing an interview to share his facet of the story, however has not heard again.
