Rep. Adam Smith, a Democrat from Washington, says the Trump administration’s plans for Venezuela after eradicating sitting President Nicolás Maduro from energy are “imprecise.”

Smith, the highest Democrat serving on the Home Armed Companies Committee, attended a briefing Monday with administration officers, together with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Workers Gen. Dan Caine.

In an interview with Morning Version, Smith mentioned Congressional leaders discovered extra about how the operation was carried out, however that the majority of the briefing centered on the long-term technique for Venezuela.
