María Corina Machado launched a letter addressing the Venezuelan folks after chief Nicolás Maduro and his spouse have been captured in a U.S. operation in a single day Saturday. 

Machado, an opposition chief who has largely been in hiding during the last 12 months, stated Maduro will “face worldwide justice for the atrocious crimes dedicated towards Venezuelans and towards residents of many different nations.” 

“The time for freedom has come!” Machado, who was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize, wrote within the letter posted on X.

It was not clear on Saturday if Machado, who escaped to Norway in a secret mission final month, was in Venezuela. She informed CBS Information in mid-December that she was “completely” supportive of President Trump’s rising navy strain on the Maduro regime and stated she would welcome “increasingly more strain in order that Maduro understands that he has to go.”

Venezuelans, The time for freedom has come!

Nicolás Maduro from right this moment will face worldwide justice for the atrocious crimes dedicated towards Venezuelans and towards residents of many different nations. Given his refusal to simply accept a negotiated resolution, the USA authorities has fulfilled its promise to implement the legislation.
