The corporate did not share with Mashable what proportion of the self-driving fleet was impacted, or why the driverless autos stopped working in the course of the blackout.

Waymo’s spokesperson, Suzanne Philion, instructed Mashable in an emailed assertion that, “We’ve got briefly suspended our ride-hailing providers within the San Francisco Bay Space as a result of widespread energy outage.
