Christopher Holtby is Co-Founder and Chief Fiduciary Strategist at Wealth Advisors Trust Company (WATC), a South Dakota–based trust company designed to support financial advisors and their clients. He began his career in financial analysis with roles at Legg Mason and Ernst & Young. Over the course of a 30-year career in financial services, Holtby has focused on trust structures, fiduciary strategy, and the complex planning decisions families face in periods of uncertainty, particularly around wealth transfer and long-term governance. He is expected to complete a Master’s degree in History at Harvard University in May 2026, where his thesis examines former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara.
