Vice President JD Vance singled out ex-MSNBC host Pleasure Reid on Thursday, telling the liberal pundit to point out a “little gratitude” for her nation.
On Thursday, Vance took to X to answer a clip of Reid discussing racism in the US. The unique video was taken in March, however was reposted by a conservative social media account this week. Within the speak, Reid discusses that her mother and father bought a “impolite awakening” after immigrating to the US.
“My mom bought the impolite awakening, like, oh, it’s racist right here, that’s bizarre,” she stated, including that her mom realized this was “not a land of alternative” for Black folks.
Vance responded to the March clip by telling Reid, who was fired from MSNBC in a community shakeup in February, to point out a “little gratitude.”
“Pleasure Reid has had such a great life on this nation. It’s been overwhelmingly form and gracious to her. She is much wealthier than most. But she oozes with contempt,” he wrote. “My sincere, non-trolling recommendation to Pleasure Reid is that you just’d be a a lot happier particular person if you happen to confirmed slightly gratitude.”
The unique video of Reid comes from a speak she participated in with Ta-Nehisi Coates in March at Xavier College in New Orleans.
Vance and Reid have publicly feuded prior to now. In September, Vance responded to Reid’s declare that he was a beneficiary of affirmative motion insurance policies.
