After going on a series of Love Is Blind speed dates, Emma Betsinger found connections with Mike Gibney, Steven Sunday and Conner Spies.
“I could be my 100 percent authentic self, and really think about what I wanted in a relationship and how [the other person] made me feel,” she told Tudum of her pod dates. “It gave me clarity to discover who I needed in a partner, but also clarity within myself.”
While Emma eventually whittled down her choice to one man, she proclaimed that she was “glad that [she] was able to experience” feelings for her castoffs.
What Emma Betsinger Revealed About Her Scars in the ‘Love Is Blind’ Pods
After undergoing multiple surgeries as a child, Emma Betsinger was left with scars down one of her arms.
“That’s why I didn’t date in middle school or high school a lot,” she told Tudum. “Getting into college and coming into my own, I also definitely became very self-aware of what my body looked like. Meeting someone out in the wild, they ask [me about them], but it wouldn’t be like, ‘Tell me more.’ It’s more, like, ‘What happened to your arm?’”
How Does Emma Betsinger Feel About Having Kids?
Emma Betsinger admitted on Love Is Blind that she is currently undecided about whether she wants to be a mom.
“I know a lot of people really want kids, but for me, I don’t know yet,” she said on one of her pod dates, later adding in a confessional, “I’m adopted. I do not know my birth family or if they are going to pass down any medical problems. That scares me about having a child. I’ve been raised by a white family; they’re the best examples of love.”
