To the editor: I used to be a trainer within the San Fernando Valley earlier than its colleges had any air con. Someday it was so heat, a scholar put his head down on his desk and mentioned, “Simply give me an F, Ms. S, I can’t assume.” Warmth as a reason for scholar underperformance is actual (“Rising warmth is inflicting college students to underperform throughout the globe,” July 31).

That is one other unhappy impact of local weather change that’s disproportionately harming those that want probably the most safety. I don’t have any hope that this administration will fight the difficulty. I can solely hope that our subsequent chief acknowledges the severity and places our greatest and brightest into motion to repair this debilitating disaster.
