The U.S. authorities has rescinded its export restrictions on chip-design software program to China, semiconductor software program corporations Synopsys and Cadence introduced Thursday.
“Synopsys is working to revive entry to the just lately restricted merchandise in China,” the California-based software program maker stated in a assertion.
Its rival, Cadence, confirmed with CNBC that the U.S. Bureau of Trade and Safety, which falls underneath the Division of Commerce, had reversed the export restrictions.
