President Donald Trump mentioned he had a “excellent name” with Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz Monday as tensions in Minneapolis flare following the taking pictures of Alex Pretti by a federal immigration officer on Saturday. 

“Governor Tim Walz known as me with the request to work along with respect to Minnesota. It was an excellent name, and we, really, gave the impression to be on the same wavelength. I advised Governor Walz that I might have Tom Homan name him, and that what we’re on the lookout for are any and all Criminals that they’ve of their possession,” Trump posted to Reality Social Monday. 

Chaos has continued in Minnesota over the weekend, together with agitators confronting legislation enforcement at a lodge on Sunday night. Protests and tensions heightened Saturday after Border Patrol brokers in Minnesota fatally shot Pretti.

Federal officers say Pretti approached brokers with a 9 mm handgun and resisted disarmament, whereas witnesses have forged doubt if Pretti, an ICU nurse, posed a risk to brokers.

“Tom Homan will likely be managing ICE operations on the bottom in Minnesota and coordinating with others on the continuing fraud investigations,” White Home press secretary Karoline Leavitt advised Fox Digital on Monday. 

Homan is anticipated to reach in Minnesota Monday night.

Trump advised The Wall Road Journal Sunday that his administration is “reviewing the whole lot,” surrounding the case, however didn’t say whether or not the agent who shot Pretti acted appropriately.

The deadly taking pictures follows the Jan. 7 deadly ICE taking pictures of Renee Good, which sparked widespread backlash from Democrats and different critics of the administration that Good was “murdered” by the hands of the federal government.
