The Detroit Tigers and right-hander Kyle Finnegan agreed to phrases on a two-year contract price $19 million assured.
The Tigers introduced Saturday that Finnegan will obtain a base wage of $8.75 million through the 2026 season and $8 million in 2027. The deal additionally features a mutual choice for 2028 at $10 million with a $2.25 million buyout.
Finnegan, 34, is eligible for efficiency bonuses of $125,000 in annually for 40, 45, 50 and 55 video games performed.
Finnegan, who was born in Detroit, posted a 4-4 document with 24 saves and a 3.47 ERA in 56 aid appearances final season cut up between the Washington Nationals and Tigers.
