The huge tax and spending invoice central to President Trump’s agenda is one step nearer to actuality.

After weeks of negotiations and 49 consecutive votes that began Monday morning, the senate permitted President Trump’s signature home coverage invoice round lunch time Tuesday. It now goes again to the Home of Representatives the place Republican Speaker Mike Johnson must reconcile the senate modifications together with his members’ competing priorities.

Michael Ricci has had an extended profession in republican politics, together with working as Speaker Paul Ryan’s communications director and Speaker John Boehner’s Chief Speech author. We talked with him concerning the stakes, and the invoice’s prospects within the Home.
