Current conflicts have introduced the specter of nuclear warfare to the forefront of many minds. Consultants warn that the present geopolitical tensions have probably hardened North Korea’s resolve to retain its nuclear capabilities. Towards this backdrop, Yuka Royer speaks with Seiichiro Mise, who survived the 1945 atomic bombing of Nagasaki on the age of 10. He shares his story and urges the world to take motion in the direction of eliminating nuclear weapons and to “unfold the seeds of peace”.
