To the editor: Thanks, columnist Jackie Calmes, on your astute rendering of the present scenario in our nation’s Supreme Court docket (“The Supreme Court docket’s deference to Trump is astounding,” June 26). Maybe it’s time to ship a phrase of warning to the bulk voice. Recalling mid-century historical past — significantly in Europe — one might level to judicial actions occurring in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1945-46.
