Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud was evaluated for a concussion after hitting his head on the turf whereas making an attempt to scramble for a primary down early within the second quarter towards the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Broncos cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine levied a blow to the midsection of Stroud as he tried to slip for a primary down with 13:49 remaining within the first half. The hit resulted in Stroud slamming the again of his helmet towards the turf. After receiving consideration from the coaching employees, Stroud departed beneath his personal energy and was later escorted to the house locker room.
Davis Mills changed Stroud beneath middle with the Texans main 3-0 and led a drive for an extra Houston subject purpose.
The Broncos responded with a landing drive and now lead 7-6 late within the second quarter.
