Solo Ball scored a team-high 23 factors to guide No. 3 UConn to an 89-62 win over Columbia on Monday evening in Storrs, Conn.

Ball and Alex Karaban (20 factors, six rebounds, 4 assists) mixed for five of the ten 3-pointers for the Huskies (3-0), who shot 56.6% from the ground and led by as many as 29.

The UConn lead was 50-27 at halftime earlier than Tarris Reed Jr. scored 13 of his 19 factors after the break whereas flattening eight rebounds and recording two blocks and three steals.
