There was an outpouring of grief for Andrew Nunez, a San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy who was fatally shot Monday, allegedly by a suspect who then led officers on a wild bike chase.
Nunez, a six-year worker of the division, leaves behind a 2-year-old daughter and a pregnant spouse, Sheriff Shannon Dicus stated.
“We’re embedded in sorrow,” Dicus stated at a Monday afternoon information convention. “Sadly for our division, this has occurred manner too typically. Nunez’s dying was met with condolences from elected officers.
