A skydiving aircraft carrying 15 folks on board veered off the top of a runway and crashed right into a wooded space in New Jersey — leaving a number of folks injured.

Based on the Federal Aviation Administration, at the least 5 of the 15 passengers on board the Cessna 208B had been taken to the hospital with accidents. The Gloucester County Workplace of Emergency Administration referred to the crash as a “mass casualty incident” on their Fb.

The Nationwide Transportation Security Board’s report for the incident stated when the pilot was getting back from her fifth skydive of the day, the plane went off the runway throughout touchdown.

Based on the NTSB report, the flare appeared inadequate, the nostril touchdown gear collapsed and the airplane took on substantial injury to the engine mounts.

CBS Information studies the airplane was concerned in an incident in July 2023 in Suffolk, Virginia.

The FAA is on scene investigating the crash.
