Amid regional strikes and reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Sanaa in Yemen has emerged as a focal point of defiance. Yemen’s Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi declared support for Iran and said the group was ready to escalate militarily if necessary. He also urged supporters to stage mass demonstrations on Friday in Sanaa and other areas under the group’s control.
