Vargas Honors Her Former Spouse

Vargas, 50, praises Bodal’s wife, Michelle Fox, for her dedicated care during his illness. The Missouri native shares that they maintained kind conversations in his final years.

The couple married in 2000, separated in 2017, and finalized their divorce in July 2020. Vargas notes that their two decades together left a lasting impact on her life, stating, “That kind of history is never erased.”

She emphasizes that Bodal’s family always meant the world to her, regardless of personal feelings. Vargas adds that his spirit and legacy endure through the lives he touched, including his new family, children, mother, wife, extended loved ones, and herself as his former wife.

Bodal’s Business Achievements

Bodal demonstrated sharp business skills, serving as CEO of American Seafoods. The company issues a tribute, describing him as “far more than a leader – he was a force of nature.”

They highlight his larger-than-life presence, boundless energy, and passion for Alaska’s fishing communities, noting that his personality filled every room and shaped modern Alaska fishing.

Reports estimate Bodal’s net worth at $200 million at the time of his death. Beyond business, he showcased talents as a pilot and guitar player.

Television Connections

Vargas gained prominence in season 15 of the Southern California-based Real Housewives of Orange County, across three seasons total. Bodal never appeared on camera in the series but featured in discussions about Vargas.

He made a guest appearance as a deckhand on a 2012 episode of CBS’s Undercover Boss. Vargas also stars in Selling the OC and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
