Podcaster Zack Peter alleged that emails from victims of Jeffrey Epstein accused attorney Sigrid McCawley, now part of Blake Lively’s legal team, of professional misconduct, including mishandling compensation and contributing to a mental health crisis. Peter discussed the claims during the February 2 episode of his podcast, No Filter with Zack Peter.
The allegations against McCawley surfaced amid renewed public attention following her addition to Lively’s legal team, as the actress’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni moved closer to trial. According to a People magazine report dated January 16, Lively had brought on McCawley, an attorney widely known for representing Epstein’s accusers, as part of her legal strategy.
While addressing the situation on his podcast, Peter explained why McCawley’s involvement initially drew significant attention.
He said her reputation for taking on powerful figures was being framed as a calculated move to position Lively sympathetically in the public eye.
“She formerly represented the Epstein victims, and that was a big headline…There was a story that came out and said that…She represented the Epstein victims, now she’s representing Blake, and it was supposed to position Blake as like this victim because obviously Sigrid had come and fought the big evil Epstein and was representing their victims,” he said.
Peter then claimed that he had obtained emails allegedly written by some of Sigrid McCawley’s former clients, who were also Epstein victims, asserting that they were dissatisfied with her legal representation. He said the messages contained harsh criticism and serious allegations regarding Sigrid McCawley’s conduct.
“So in these emails, you see them slam Sigrid as ‘dirty’. One of them claims that she caused them a nervous breakdown,” Peter said.
He further alleged that the emails included accusations of financial misconduct against Sigrid McCawley and her team, specifically suggesting that compensation owed to victims had been mishandled.
“Another (victim) claims that she stole their compensation, or that the team Sigrid was on (included her as)…one of the people they explicitly say ‘stole their compensation.’…That’s a direct allegation from here,” Zack Peter said.
What else did Zack Peter say about the Epstein victim’s alleged email that made alarming claims against Blake Lively’s attorney, Sigrid McCawley?

During the aforementioned episode of his podcast, Zack Peter discussed alleged emails he said were sent by victims of Jeffrey Epstein, reading portions of what he described as their “exact” words.
According to Peter, the emails accused Blake Lively’s current attorney, Sigrid McCawley, of misconduct, including allegedly stealing compensation and contributing to severe emotional distress.
Peter began by explaining the source of the first email, noting that the sender’s identity had been “redacted” for privacy reasons. However, he stressed that the email was presented as coming from one of the disgraced financier’s “victims.”
He also emphasized that while the victim’s name was withheld, the email explicitly referenced Blake Lively’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley, along with other “people” on McCawley’s “legal team.”
Peter then relayed what the victim claimed against Blake Lively’s lawyer, Sigrid McCawley.
“Every morning I awaken in hell shaken, sweating and fearing for children harmed by mob. I vomit, shake and sweat for hours because my central nervous system will not settle after David, Sigrid…STOLE MY COMPENSATION, then blatantly lied to extort banks off of the backs of ruthless female adults,” he said reading from the email.
The podcaster further explained that the sender alleged her attempts to report wrongdoing through an “FBI report” were “erased” in “real time” because she “dared to report criminal elites” who, according to her, harmed her “much more than Epstein.”
Peter summarized another portion of the email by describing allegations of silencing, smear campaigns, and intimidation by powerful individuals, including claims tied to Ghislaine Maxwell’s associates. He said the sender also referenced alleged pressure connected to the White House.
After finishing the email, Peter pointed out that it was dated April 2025 and speculated about which U.S. administration the sender may have been referring to when mentioning the White House.
While he acknowledged it could involve multiple administrations, Peter said he personally believed the language most likely pointed to the Biden administration.
Peter then introduced a second email, also dated April 2025, which he said was shared by Andy Signore and attributed to another victim of the disgraced financier. Reading from that email, Peter stated:
“You and Simone Sigrid Bedwards caused me a full nervous system breakdown, my family’s abilities to survive cancer when you lied about my appeal. This is a dirty layer of filth and federal witnesses who watched. God is my witness. I know no one of authority or power cares. God cares.”
He noted that the email appeared to be partially cut off and said it included several JPEG attachments, which he described as alarming given the severity of the allegations.
After reading the alleged Epstein victim letters, Peter went on to criticize media narratives surrounding Blake Lively’s lawyer, Sigrid McCawley. He questioned headlines that portrayed her as a champion for Epstein victims while now representing Blake Lively.
“Remember she’s the one that did the TMZ interview after the last hearing. She’s literally the one that did …the interview on the steps of the courthouse where she talks about how they have mountains of evidence,” Peter said.
He criticized how the situation was being framed, arguing that this was the type of legal representation Blake Lively currently had access to. Yet, she appeared to be using the media to “warp” and “twist” the narrative.
Peter also suggested that coverage was attempting to recast Lively as being “just like an Epstein victim,” based on how the story was presented in headlines. He questioned the “integrity of those headlines” and added that the entire situation was “crazy.”
Zack Peter did not provide independent verification of the Epstein victim emails during the podcast. However, he credited fellow podcaster Andy Signore, stating that Signore was the one who had “posted” and “highlighted” the details related to the emails.
At the time of writing, neither Blake Lively nor Sigrid McCawley has issued any official statements addressing the alleged emails from Epstein victims.
