WWE Royal Rumble 2026 takes place tomorrow for the first time in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and superstars are geared up for the historic event. Meanwhile, Michael Cole received a grave threat from a star.
The Vision has had a few ups and downs in the Stamford-based promotion following Seth Rollins’ exit from the group in October 2025. While the villainous stable gained new members and allies, Bron Breakker failed to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk.
Thanks for the submission!
During the Royal Rumble Kickoff ahead of Friday Night SmackDown, The Vision appeared in front of the crowd to make a final statement before tomorrow’s gimmick match. During this, Cole questioned every member where their loyalty lies when it comes to the Royal Rumble.
Bronson Reed cut the announcer off and threatened to Tsunami him through the announce table when he sacrifices himself for Bron Breakker in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
“When I get over the top rope, I’m going to come straight to the announce table, grab you, put you on the table, and Tsunami you cause you do not disrespect The Vision,” Reed said.
Michael Cole has competed at WWE Royal Rumble
Before he was the voice of WWE behind the announcer’s desk, Michael Cole had an on-screen role under the old regime, where he feuded with Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler on the weekly product. Moreover, Cole expanded his reach as a performer and had matches inside the ring.
In 2012, he started the event as an announcer and eventually took part in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. The commentator appeared at number 20 and was eliminated by Booker T and Jerry Lawler. Moreover, he has competed at WrestleMania and won.
Meanwhile, Pat McAfee is reportedly ready to return and could join his partner at the announce table. It’ll be interesting to see which stars will return to the promotion in Riyadh.
